We are very proud to have Enrique Firpi on drums for the ongoing tour. Beside Enrique, BYE-YA! will also be playing with two other great drummers Armando Vidal Sanchez and Lucas van Merwijk.

Randal Corsen awarded with Edison!

On November 24, the Edison Jazz National 2004 was presented to Randal Corsen by radio-presenter Vincent van Engelen. The presentation show featured Randal Corsen and two other Edison-winners: George Duke and Electro Côco.

Randal Corsen nominated for Edison Award 2004

Randal Corsen’s CD ‘Evolushon’ has been nominated for an Edison Jazz Award. ‘Evolushon’ was released in april of 2003, and features David Sánchez on tenor sax, Izaline Calister on vocals, Leonardo Amuedo on guitar, Eric Calmes on bass, Pernell Saturnino on percussion and Liber Torriente on drums.

BYE-YA! touring the Dutch theaters

From september 2004 until june 2005 Bye-Ya! can be seen on all the major theater stages of Holland. In this Double Bill tour, organized by Jazz Impulse Agency, Bye-Ya! is proudly sharing the stage with the Izaline Calister & Randal Corsen Duo.

Rob van de Wouw substituting Jarmo

We have just received the shocking news that Jarmo will not be able to perform for a while due to a serious lip injury. At the moment he is recovering, we wish him all the best and hope he will soon be back on stage with us.
Fortunately new generation stellar trumpeter Rob van de Wouw is doing a great job substituting Jarmo during the Double Bill tour.

Presentation in Paradox

After the big succes in Bimhuis last month,"Dos" will be presented at the Paradox, Tilburg, with a live concert on December 5. The concert will feature all the members of the latin jazz quintet. It starts at 21.30. Tickets and reservations through the site of Paradox.

New album "DOS" (Two)



As from now, the new cd "Dos" by BYE-YA! will be available. "Dos" is the second album of the Latin Jazz Quintet. Besides unique compositions of the bandmembers it contains several surprising latin arrangements of jazz standards. Release-date is set for the first of October 2003. The album is released by Challenge/A-Records.
